Get to Know Christiana Greene, CEO of One Touch Recovery Center
Tell us about yourself and the work that you do?
My name is Christiana Greene. I am the CEO and Program Director for One Touch Recovery Center. One Touch Recovery Center is a Substance Abuse Treatment Center for adults that are suffering with substance and alcohol abuse, coupled with mental illness. We are a faith-based non-profit organization based in Minnesota and Los Angeles. Our goal is to help individuals regain control of their lives, and help them mend relationships they lost during their period of alcohol and drug use. We help these individuals get back into their communities, retain their jobs and businesses, and become an integral part of society once again. I am also an Evangelist for One Touch Of Christ Evangelistic Ministries. I love to help people get to the point of where God destined them to be. I believe that once you make Jesus Christ the head of your life, he will take control of all our mistakes and give us the courage and determination to fix whatever was lost in our lives.
Can you tell us about some success stories you've had with your business/product or anything of which you are extremely proud?
We have seen individuals who were able to gain relationships with their children, get their jobs back, and secure a prosperous lifestyle.
What is one motivational quote that has inspired you in your journey? Do you have any advice for other women who are working towards starting their own business?
"With God all things are possible" My advice to other women is that they can achieve whatever they are focused on doing. Don't let anyone stop you from doing what you heart desires.
Why do you think it is important for women to support each other, especially in your field of work? How do you or your company help combat systems and policies that exist to keep women marginalized?
Women have motherly instincts and they are caring. They can understand and relate better with people who are going through a crisis. Our organization believes that God created everyone with a purpose and a talent. The world is a better place when all those talents are brought together for the greater good.
What are some ways you practice self care and how does it help you in your life and career? Do you have any tips for other women to stay balanced?
For self care, I like to go on vacation, take trips to the beach, or go to the spa. In my off times, I also like to read; whether it being a book or the Word of God. I encourage other women to take time to relax, read, or meditate.
What are some long term goals you have for yourself or your business?
Our company's long term goals are to help people seek recovery through our programs and bring them closer to God or peace in their lives.
Is there anything else you want people to know about you, your business, or any projects you are working on?
Our Treatment Center is an outpatient center that enables people to carry out their daily business while seeking help through treatment. We offer 3 groups daily to satisfy all of our clients' needs and concerns. If individuals cannot come into our centers, we also offer telehealth services where they can receive treatment at the comfort of their homes. Our company gives individuals an alternative option in court to seek treatment instead of receiving long jail sentences
