RBRW Radio: Human Trafficking Panel

Last week, Real Beauty Real Women and Synergy Radio Network hosted an exclusive event to introduce the radio station's brand of socially conscious programming to special guests, debut the #puckerupforchange video campaign of Socially Conscious Fashionistas (see it now), and hold a panel discussion on human trafficking.

Synergy Radio Network's Oscar Hines, Bishop James Dixon, RBRW Founder Jacquelyn Aluotto, RBRW VP Anika Jackson, Artist Chuck Redick, and Synergy Radio Network's Morris Parsons.

We were so grateful to have panelists including our own Founder Jacquelyn Aluotto, who is presently editing her three + years of filming on human trafficking; Staff Attorney for Children at Risk, Emily Freeborn; Survivor, Harris County Sheriff Office Employee and Founder of Been There Done That, Kathy Griffin Grinan; and Survivor Kathy McGibbon.

Huge thanks to Lereca Monik for her excellent moderating skills and, with her experience in the foster care system, setting off the tone of inspiring stories and calls to action from our panelists.

Before and after the panel, guests, including members of Social Graces Social Club, enjoyed catering by Fresh Eats, music by DJs Freddy B and DJ Griffin of PAA Entertainment, wine courtesy of Beviamo International, and a fashion installation featuring Engomichu and the art of Chuck Redick.

We can't wait to tell you all about what's next in store for Real Beauty Real Women and our sister and partner brands! Stay tuned to RBRW and this space!
