Tracy Faulkner Houston Children’s Charity
Tracy Faulkner is a seasoned and professional philanthropist typically chairing or co-chairing 3 large events per year, and attending and contributing to another 40 annually. Together with her husband Harry, they lend their time, talents and home to a non-profit each quarter having raised over a million dollars since their marriage in 2013. This Fall they walked the runway for the Indo-American Charitable Foundation and were recognized as an “Angel Couple” as well as walking the runway for the Re-New & Re-Do Fashion Show benefiting The Women’s Home which they were Gala Chairs for in 2015. Her longtime support of organizations helping women and children go back 25 years from her Chicago days when she helped The National Runaway Switchboard and St. Jude’s. She retired as the President of the National Concierge Association in 2004 and has been here ever since. This summer she and her family were honored as 1 of 4 philanthropic families in Houston at the St. Jude’s Gold Luncheon. Incorporating acts of kindness and charity is a core value for her entire family, right down to their four rescue dogs via The Friends of BARC. Tracy is also an accomplished Live Auctioneer donating her time annually to The Friends of BARC and The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Tracy was a 2011 “Woman of the Year” Candidate for the LLS and met her husband Harry at a LLS Event too.
Tracy is one of the original Ambassadors for the I-The Guy Campaign and this year’s Co-Chair for the iWrite Literacy Luncheon. She’s finishing the year as the Gala Auction Chair for Houston Achievement Place, having served as their Gala Chair last year. Earlier this year she co-chaired The KNOW Autism Gala and The Big Taste of Houston for Big Brothers Big Sisters. Even while chairing numerous charities you’ll still find her spread between four schools each week mentoring and tutoring children from 3rd to 8th grade. Although she has just one son, she has four young mentees who consider her their Fairy God Mother. Tracy is active in Robby’s life too serving as Cub Scout Leader, Team Mom, Room Mom and over-all cool mom on the block. Given all the hats she’s wearing, we’re simply thrilled to have her here co-chairing this year’s luncheon.
