Nicole West is a successful five-time entrepreneur and investor; among her successful business enterprises are NCA Investigations, Inc. and WestCo Ventures LLC, a construction company. She built her companies based on excellence and integrity. With her tenacity and ingenuity, West has been able to grow and sustain each of the business endeavors. When asked to describe the force behind her drive, she's quick to provide this reply, "collaborating with others”.

 

Along with her business leadership, West has received various accolades for her professional, civic and community leadership. In 2013, West was recognized as one of The Top 30 Influential Women by dMars Magazine. In 2015, she was recognized by The Texas Alliance of Black Educators and The Houston Area Alliance for Black Educators at their annual dining with divas awards ceremony, she also received the 2015 Pacesetter Award at the 34th Annual Scholarship Luncheon and Fashion Show for the Alpha Kappa Omega Chapter of the Alpha Kappa Sorority Incorporated.  She currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Ensemble Theatre and has previously served on the Board of Directors for Target Hunger and Hester House.  West is a servant leader that is compassionate and caring about those that are overlooked, voiceless and challenged, as such she is often called upon to chair fundraising events for non-profits and charitable organizations to garner community and financial support.

 

Additionally, West has been appointed to serve on Boards and Commissions for the past three City of Houston Mayors and is now serving on the City of Houston Office of Business Opportunity Advisory Board under Mayor Sylvester Turner.

 

Nicole’s proudest accomplishment is establishing the Westco Experience Foundation in 2014 to provide opportunities and experiences that enables youth to reach their full potential.

 

West, is a native Houstonian and has her Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from Lamar University, a Master's in Public Administration with a concentration Public Policy from Texas Southern University, and she is currently pursuing a Doctor of Education in Organizational Leadership from Abilene Christian University.

 

Nicole is the wife of Anthony West and mother of Cameron and Chelsey. Additionally, Nicole is a member of the Women Presidents’ Organization and a Charter Member of the Greater Pearland Area Chapter of the Links Incorporated, she is also a member of Jack and Jill of America Incorporated Greater Channel Chapter and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated.
