President and CEO of Nan and Company Properties/Christie’s International Real Estate, Nancy Almodovar has been working in residential real estate for 14 years. After seeing a gap in the marketplace for a premier luxury real estate company in Houston, Nancy developed Nan and Company Properties in 2014 as a technology-driven firm that services clients buying, selling, and leasing luxury properties while presenting sales associates with the support and innovation to succeed. In 2017, the firm was named the exclusive Houston affiliate of Christie’s International Real Estate.

Nancy is a Certified International Property Specialist and an active member of the Houston Association of Realtors, Texas Association of Realtors and National Association of Realtors. In 2016, she was recognized by the Houston Association of Realtors as one of the Young Professional Network’s 20 Under 40 Rising Stars and as a Top Producer. In 2017, Nancy was recognized by the HBJ as an Outstanding Leader in Real Estate for the Women Who Mean Business Awards, as the listing agent for one HBJ’s Most Expensive Homes Sold in 2016, and as the No. 1 Real Estate Agent in Luxury. She has also been named a champion for the 2018 Enterprising Women of the Year Awards, a prestigious tribute that honors the world’s top women entrepreneurs.

As a business owner, wife and mother of two, Nancy aims to be an inspiration for women through her work ethic and philanthropy. She has participated in various events such as University of Houston’s Table Talk and Houston Business Journal’s Mentoring Monday, which aim to empower women to follow their career goals through mentorship. Nancy also volunteers for several organizations such as Houston Children Give Back, the Houston Ballet, St. Anne Catholic School, Learn Grow Lead, and the Pin Oak Charity Horse Show. Nancy and her team also pioneered the Nan Cares Toy Drive, an annual fundraiser that collects then donates toys to underprivileged elementary students in Houston.
