Anika Jackson is a highly connected & visionary leader who builds local & global buzz through connecting, collaborating and creating meaningful relationships between businesses and communities. An engaging, intelligent, and profoundly relevant event producer, speaker, community leader and consultant, Anika possesses an innate sense of purpose and a pragmatic approach to empowering people and distilling creative (and seemingly disconnected) human business ideas into elegantly synergistic concepts and helping brands apply those concepts to the best steps to meet their goals.


Anika has gained a reputation for her philanthropic work in the community. She is vice chair on the board of Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast and chair of Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast Action Fund. Anika is a co-founder/board chairman of Learn Grow Lead, which funds education and other basic needs for poor, orphaned and formerly trafficked children, as well as a co-founder/board chairman of Houston Children Give Back, which helps children learn about their world, and create positive change.

In addition, Anika serves as a founding family and advisory council member for Greater Houston Community Foundation’s Center for Family Philanthropy. Formerly the President of the Junior League of Los Angeles, she has taken her drive to Houston, serving as the Junior League of Houston representative for the Nonprofit Leadership Collaborative.

Anika is the development campaign and special events manager for Houston Area Women Center, as well as a Global Health masters candidate at Northwestern University and holds a Bachelor of Science in Public Administration from The University of San Francisco, as well as a graduate of both Leadership Southern California and Leadership Houston.
